My Zoom Tech Stack For Speakers
I've had a lot of people ask questions about the tech I'm using as a speaker for Zoom, other Virtual Meetings, Summits, etc.

USB External Soundcard
In order to get everything to plug in right, this inexpensive external sound card will do the trick well!
Behind the Ear Earbuds
These are great sounding and are designed to fit over and behind your ears so there are no pesky cables in the way.
Foam Earbud Tips
Get a set of these and try them out. I think they fit better and feel much better than the silicone style tips.
Over The Ear Microphone
If you're a speaker, you've likely used this style of mic with a wireless set before. They have awesome sound and really make you look sharp when presenting!
Microphone Adapter
This is not optional! It will make sure things fit right and work. Only need one for the microphone and you'll plug it in between the mic and the extension cable.
3.5mm Extension Cables
You want 2 of these! Trust me.
6ft is usually good for most situations and will give you room to move around a bit.
Yeti Microphone
This mic has been awesome. It's great for connecting via a Boom stand or on its built-in stand on a desk. Great if you're not quite ready for the fancy headset mic yet.
You can also use it in a room that has multiple people. It's a staple in the podcasting world.
Logitech Webcam
This is the one I use for my primary camera and it's solid. Used it for years!
Lighting Kit w/ Boom Stands
This kit rocks for getting great lighting and not taking up a lot of space. The boom stands attach right to your desk.
Desktop Whiteboard
LOVE Rocketbook brand stuff!
This let's me mindmap, doodle, etc right on my desk and people can see me writing.
Low Budget 2nd Camera
This is the camera I use for my whiteboard view on my desk. Not the best but for it's needs, it's a perfect secondary camera!
